When did you start Sim racing?
1989, with Indianapolis 500, the Simulation, from Papyrus. I started online racing in 1999 with GPL.

What got you into Sim racing?
Love real racing, never could afford it.

Most memorable moment in Sim racing?
The first time I went wheel-to-wheel at Spa with someone half-way around the world in GPL.

Where are you from?
Started out in South Dakota, now live in Kansas City, MO

How old are you?
fifty eight.

What kind of wheel do you have?
Red Momo, with a custom set of pedals (Redline knockoffs made by a friend in England)

What is your favorite and least favorite track?
Favorites, Watkins Glen and Darlington - Least favorite - probably Bristol.

If you have to pick a NASCAR driver you mirror in sim racing who would it be?
Tough one - they're all better than me. I try (really hard, but not always successfully) to keep the car undamaged.

How much time do you spend Sim racing in a week?
About 6 hours +/- (almost all N2K3, but GTP and Richard Burns Rally, too)

If you could meet anyone who would it be and why?
I'd love to have met Smokey Yunick, just to hear him tell tales.

What hobbies do you have outside Sim racing?
Motorcycle (1981 XS650), Sailboat, Travel, Photography, Golf, Books, Movies, Bicycles (Don't EVEN bring all these up around my wife.)

What kind of PC do you have?
A Gateway P4 2.4 - 1G Ram, 550W power supply, SB Audigy2, GeForce 5900XT, extra fan, extra hard drive (to hold replays)

Are you married or have family?
Married, with one daughter old enough to be a 30+er.

What do you enjoy most about racing here at 30plus?
The civility - everyone treats everyone else with respect. Good, hard racers with manners. .
