30+Casey Tyoe

Who is your favorite driver?
I've always been a Bill Elliott fan. It was a blast to watch his late career resurgence when he got back into that #9 car and had success. Now that Awesome Bill has hung up his helmet, I've become a Matt Kenseth fan. Like Bill, he stays calm, cool, and collective.

When did you start Sim racing?
I started racing with the NASCAR Racing 4 sim in 2001.

What got you into Sim racing?
Really, just having a good wheel and the desire to race competitively.

Most memorable moment in Sim racing?
It's close. My first online win over at ASRL with the NR2003 sim ranks really high up there on the list. And so does my first win here at 30+ at Daytona. That was one of the greatest moments of my sim racing career.

Where are you from?
Central New York.

How old are you?
That's top secret, if I told you I'd have to enter the witness protection program lol.

What kind of wheel do you have?
Logitech Momo.

What is your favorite and least favorite track?
My favorites are Superspeedways and high banked multi-groove tracks like Michigan and Atlanta. For least favorite I'd have to say flat tracks.

If you have to pick a NASCAR driver you mirror in sim racing who would it be?
I try my best to be a Bill Elliott / Matt Kenseth style driver.

How much time do you spend Sim racing in a week?
Probably not as much as I should. I get in about 10 minutes before the race most of the time.

If you could meet anyone who would it be and why?
Not really any certain one I can think of. Meeting any of the great NASCAR legends or any rock 'n rollers would be humbling.

What hobbies do you have outside Sim racing?
Anything and everything classic rock. I grew up listening to it and my Dad is a musician. One of my most favorite things to do is program music as well as set up music for get togethers. If I had all the money in the world, one of the first things I'd do is start an FM station. Music is powerful. If you can have others listen to what you are playing, and have it invoke emotions and make them happy, then you've fulfilled and mastered the art of being a great DJ.

What kind of PC do you have?
A Dell Vostro desktop.

Are you married or have family?
I am married to the love of my life, my beautiful wife Andrea.

What do you enjoy most about racing here at 30plus?
The fun and friendly atmosphere.
